Exhibition of work's instruments, daily used objects and
means of transport coming from the region of Romagna and
dated back to an ancient period between the end of XIX
century and the beginning of XX century, just before the
mechanization of the agricultural production. The
exhibition is organized in different production cycles
(hemp, wheat, grapevine and wine, breeding and transport,
etc ) and it is supplied with a nimble
reconstruction of the main phases of agricultural
development in Cesena from the ancient times to nowadays.
The choice of placing the Museum inside the Female Tower
of the Malatesta's Fortress, that can be appreciated for
its architectural beauty, wants to underline the tie and
the complex relation between the town, rooted from its
origins between the Garampo and Sterlino hills, and the
countryside, whose changes are visible on the other side
of the narrow iron bars. Particularly interesting the
images, drawings, paintings and photos, almost all
unpublished, recently found during the preparation of the
Museum.
